Information collected

When you place an order, create an account, request support or submit a review, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the interaction, this can include your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details and correspondence. Reviews you choose to publish can be visible to other visitors.

The website and its service providers can also receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and referral information. You can browse without creating an account, but we need the information required to process and deliver an order.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide account and customer support, manage returns, maintain business records, prevent misuse and operate the website. Relevant information is shared with payment, delivery, hosting and technical service providers where needed for those purposes, and where required by law.

The shop uses WordPress and WooCommerce. Stripe payment tools operate on product and checkout pages, including supported wallet and Link options. Payment providers handle payment credentials through their payment interfaces; please do not send full card details by email. See Stripe's privacy policy. Cookies and browser storage

WooCommerce uses cookies and similar storage for shopping-cart and session functions and order attribution. The site also stores your selected Fruity colourway in your browser so it can be remembered. Payment tools can use their own storage for security, fraud prevention and payment functions.

You can manage cookies and clear stored preferences through your browser. Blocking storage can affect the cart, account or payment experience. A colourway preference is not consent to unrelated tracking or marketing.

Overseas handling

Some service providers operate internationally, including in the United States, and information may be processed outside Australia. International deliveries also require relevant details to be shared with carriers and delivery partners in the destination country. Provider privacy notices explain their international processing. Contact us for further details about the providers relevant to your enquiry or order.

Retention and protection

Information is retained for the purposes described above and applicable accounting, tax, dispute and other legal requirements. Retention needs vary by record. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and to remove or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices, access and complaints

You can ask to access or correct personal information, ask about retention or deletion, or raise a privacy complaint by emailing info@fruitygrip.com. We may need to verify your identity and may need to keep information where required by law. Tell us what happened and the outcome you are seeking so we can investigate and respond.
